The Front Steps received a production at Alley Stage, Mineral Point, WI, in 2010. The Front Steps won the 2009 Wisconsin Wrights Playwriting Competition. The Front Steps writer, Marcia Jablonski, is a recipient of the Elizabeth George Foundation Grant for Emerging Playwrights The Draper's Eye was given a concert reading in New York at the League of Professional Theatre Women's Julia Miles Reading Series, followed by a staged reading at Houston's Landing Theatre Company New American Voices Play Reading Series, and a staged reading at the Manhattan Theatre Works 2014 Newborn Festival where it received the Excellence in Playwriting Award sponsored by Indie Theatre Now. In April 2015, the play was given a workshop at the Athena Project's Plays in Progress Festival in Denver, Colorado, directed by Hart DeRose, with dramaturgy by Patrick Elkins-Zeglarski.
